Jeavons Joins Nebu to Target US Market

September 16 2005

Amsterdam-based MR software supplier Nebu has opened an office in Cincinnati, Ohio and appointed software guru Andrew Jeavons, a long-time competitor of the firm, to head it up.

Nebu was founded in 1992 by Eric van Velzen and Fred Broers, and provides interviewing systems, panel management systems and fieldwork control systems. Van Velzen says that after a period of rapid growth, the company is looking to develop the global market for its products. 'We have been very committed to developing a high quality solution for survey research. Now, with 117 clients in 14 countries and a reputation for innovation and reliability, we feel it is time to expand into the USA'.

According to Broers, Jeavons has 'a great deal of experience and knowledge of the survey software world. We are extremely happy that Andrew has decided to work with us. We know he gave the matter very serious thought and thoroughly assessed our technical and strategic capabilities'.

Jeavons, who will work with UK MD Tariq Mirza, says Nebu has 'a totally unique panel management and mixed mode interviewing solution, which no other vendor can rival'. In addition to its branch in London, Nebu has partner offices in Frankfurt and Stockholm. Its web site is at www.nebu.com.
