Partnership for UK and Australian MR Recruiters

October 10 2005

UK-based RPCushing has forged a partnership with fellow MR recruitment consultancy Market Search in Australia to help clients looking for overseas opportunities. The companies will advertise each other's vacancies, and will provide candidates with information to facilitate relocation.

Market Search previously had a similar relationship with UK recruiter Personnel Resources. Commenting on the new partnership, Paul Cushing, MD of RPCushing Recruitment, said: 'More and more people are seeking short- or long-term career opportunities abroad and, by formalising an Australasian affiliation, we can provide a truly global executive search service.'

Cushing told DRNO that the move is about providing clients and candidates with a good quality service, as well as simply sharing vacancy information. 'We will provide candidates with personalised information packs telling them about the local market,' he explained. 'The idea is to make the journey as easy as possible, and ensure they hit the ground running'.

Cushing met with a number of potential partners in Australia, but was most impressed with Market Search, and feels the companies share many of the same values. Lyn Tanner, MD of Market Search, states that 'working with our new London affiliate will greatly enhance the specialised service that we can offer our Australasian clients and candidates'.

Both companies will be updating their web sites to allow easier access to international vacancies. The sites are at www.rpcushing.co.uk and www.marketsearch.com.au . UK and Australian jobs from the partnership will be advertised on MrWeb. The job search page is at www.mrweb.com/jobs.
