SRA Buys On The Mark Research

On its 20th anniversary, US-based SRA Research has acquired another Florida MR firm, On The Mark (OTM) Research, in what is described as a 'multi-million dollar merger'. OTM's eponymous President Mark Sandler will become VP of Client Services for the combined company.

SRA's core services include advertising research, branding and concept testing; corporate image studies; customer satisfaction research; market segmentation studies and web site testing. OTM provides a similar range of services.

Sandler formed OTM in 2002, having previously worked as President of Research at the now defunct Research 100. He has also been a representative to the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO).

Barbara Allan, founder and CEO of SRA, says: 'Together, Mark and I have more than half a century of research experience, and we manage an industry-leading team of research professionals. This acquisition definitely positions SRA Research for future growth by enabling us to move into new geographic markets and vertical industries.'

Sandler says the merger is 'great news for clients as it allows us to put additional resources, brain power and infrastructure to work on their behalf'.
