Former META VP Joins Consulting Group

Public sector business development specialist INPUT Consulting has appointed Thom Rubel, formerly VP of Government Strategies at IT researcher META Group, as part of its high level consulting team.

At META, Rubel helped state and local governments improve operations and policy outcomes by communicating the benefits of information technology. He brings more than 20 years of public sector experience: prior to META, he served as Director of the State Information Technology Program at the National Governors Association's (NGA) Center for Best Practices, and in two other NGA Directorships. Earlier, he was an under secretary at the Department of Agriculture and Deputy Director of Intergovernmental and Consumer Affairs at the Department of Transportation.
