New Directors for MMR and Healthcare Research

January 11 2006

Mat Lintern is rejoining food and drink specialist MMR Research Worldwide as a Research Director in its UK office. Meanwhile, Healthcare Research Worldwide - a division of the MMR Group - has hired Nicola Maxwell as Associate Director.

Lintern brings more than 10 years of ad hoc international MR experience, 3 years of which were spent with MMR previously. He has also worked for Buckingham Research Associates, where he was seconded to a client for three days a week for a year. During his career he has worked with leading food and drink manufacturers, gaining expertise in product optimisation, concept testing, pricing and packaging research.

In his new role, Lintern will deliver research to one of the company's key food and drink clients, as well as helping to develop qubiq-online, MMR's online business.

Maxwell also has 10 years' MR experience, on both the client and agency side. Most recently, she worked for Incite, and was previously at Martin Hamblin GfK, specialising in product and concept testing for the food and drink industries. Prior to that, she worked at Reading Scientific Services Limited (RSSL) in the Sensory and Consumer Research department, where she conducted research projects on OTC pharmaceuticals.

The Healthcare Research Worldwide team, based in Oxford, has more than doubled in size over the last year.

The MMR Group comprises MMR Research Worldwide (which provides research in the FMCG and retail sectors as well as food and drink), Healthcare Research Worldwide, qubiq-online, UK Fieldwork Services Limited, and the US-based MMR Food & Drink Research Worldwide.

The companies are online at www.mmr-research.com and www.hrwhealthcare.com.
