Panel Management Tool Sharpens Up

MR sampling solutions provider Centurion Marketing Systems has released a new version of its sampling tool, MARSC. Enhanced features improve respondent targeting and give new panel management options.

Version 4.1 was unveiled by the UK-based firm at the ARF conference in New York last month. Sample can be defined by previous interview activity: for example, with a multi-stage project the researcher can re-contact past respondents in a subsequent survey, and in the process ensure that those people are not used for other surveys. The maximum number of surveys sent to a specific person in a particular time period can be defined in advance, and respondents who never answer questionnaires can be excluded to improve efficiency, or targeted specifically for reactivation.

According to Nicky Forsyth, Sales and Marketing Director, the firm listened to feedback from panel operators about the pressures they face and the new software 'ensures that untargeted blasting of research projects is a thing of the past.'
