Datascension Gears Up in Central America

May 5 2006

Data solutions company Datascension has started work on its new state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, Costa Rica. The site will contain around 700 new interviewing, training and management support stations.

The company has signed a long term lease on over 43,000 square feet of space directly across the street from the largest University in the country, a source of professional bi-lingual recruitment for the agency.

Upon completion, the company says it will be able to support up to 200% more production hours than at present. When fully implemented and fully staffed, the infrastructure will be in place to generate approximately US$30,000,000 of annual revenue. The move will take place in stages with the ultimate goal of having all the company's Costa Rica office on the new site no later than November 1 this year.

Datascension has also announced that it will double the capacity of its Dominican Republic facility from 100 to 200 working stations over the rest of this year.

Datascension, which also has operations in California, offers market research in addition to a range of other call centre activities, and is rapidly becoming one of the largest Spanish-speaking call centre firms in the world. It is online at www.datascension.com .
