Marketing 'Oscar' for Research International

June 5 2006

Who says researchers don't practice what they preach? Global agency Research International has won one of 'the business world's own Oscars' for 2006 for its Innovation Journey Suitcase, voted the 'Best Marketing or Sales Brochure or Kit'.

The International Business Awards are nicknamed 'Stevies®' after the Greek word for 'crowned'. RI will pick up its Stevie at a gala dinner on Monday, June 26 in the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, to be videocast live worldwide by HB Group, and will be broadcast live on radio in the USA by the Business TalkRadio Network. 82 trophies will be given to winners selected from more than 700 nominations received from companies and individuals in more than 30 countries.

The Suitcase was designed to communicate the agency's expertise on innovation research using the concept of an Innovation Journey integrating the right consumers and balancing creativity and discipline along the route.

RI USA's Chief Executive Lorna Walters, who will collect the award alongside US head of Innovation Liz Engelsen, comments: 'It is a distinct pleasure and honor to accept this prestigious award. Our clients' number one priority is Innovation and receipt of this award demonstrates our continued commitment to providing the very best innovative tools in the marketplace.'
