Ipsos MORI First with New MR Standard

Ipsos MORI has become the first agency to be awarded the new international process Standard ISO 20252, within two months of the standard's launch.

The standard, awarded by the accredited assessment body Marketing Quality Assurance Ltd (MQA), sets out requirements for how market research studies are planned, carried out, supervised and reported to clients, covering all stages from initial client contact to the presentation of results.

Ipsos MORI is still in its first year of integrating Ipsos UK and MORI, a fact which makes Head of Operations Rowland Lloyd particularly pleased to have achieved the standard: 'The strength and compatibility of both Ipsos and MORI's approach to standards has meant we've achieved accreditation within two months of the launch of ISO 20252. This demonstrates our company's ethos of excellence in client delivery being achieved via excellence in the way we work.'

MQA's MD Tony James comments: 'We are proud to congratulate the recently merged household name Ipsos MORI for being the first in the sector to be successfully assessed. An excellent achievement'. MQA is the First Certification Body to be accredited by UKAS for the New Standard.
