New Head for National Omnibus Poll

In the US Michael Mermelstein, a past President of the Marketing Research Association, has been named as the new President of RT Strategies' National Omnibus Poll. He joins from Evans/ McDonough Company, Inc, where he has been Field Operations Director since 2001.

Mermelstein is currently Chair of MRA's Advisory Group and Co-Chair of the Government Affairs Committee at the Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR), along with Susan Pinkus, director of the L.A. Times Poll. He is also the EMC representative to IriS, the worldwide consortium of survey research companies.

Mermelstein worked previously as VP for Business Development at Field Facts Worldwide, as co-founder and Executive VP of Communications Center, Inc. and Phone Bank Operations Director at Peter D. Hart Research Associates Inc. He has a BA from the State College of New York at Oneonta where he majored in History and Political Science.
