Research Now Adds Four European Panels

August 17 2006

Research Now has announced the launch of four more of its proprietary research-only panels. The addition of Portugal, Greece, Belgium and the Netherlands brings the online specialist's total coverage to eighteen European countries, plus Australia.

The new panels joining the company's 'Valued Opinions' family include Portugal (at: Opiniġes de Valor - www.opinioesdevalor.com ), Greece (at: Πολύτιµες Γνώµες - www.polytimesgnomes.gr ), the Netherlands (at: Waardevolle Mening www.waardevollemening.nl ), and two for Belgium (Votre Opinion - www.votreopinion.be for French speakers and Jouw Mening - www.joumening.be for Flemish).

MD Andrew Cooper says the bilingual Belgian approach ensures that genuinely representative samples can be selected. 'Some businesses claim to have a Belgian panel but in fact they just have people who have registered on their French panel with a Belgian postcode - of course the Flemish 58% is missing which is key if a client wished to do research genuinely representative of the country's population'.

The company describes its offering as 'the largest family of transparently and consistently built research-only panels in Europe.' According to Cooper: 'Our consistent panel backbone structure is localised, not just translated, to every country - ensuring the reliable and consistent performance of our panels for multi-country projects.'

Research Now has over 950,000 active panellists globally. The fourteen countries already covered are the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, the Czech Republic and Poland. The company, which floated on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in August 2005, is online at www.researchnow.co.uk .
