NYC Office for Kelton's PR Company

Kelton Research has opened a full-service office in the heart of Manhattan, to function principally as a national centre for the Omnibus Company, its specialist PR division. Nathan Richter has been hired as Executive Director for the division.

Kelton is known for hiring former magazine writers, editors, producers and reporters to work with their highly trained researchers. Richter's appointment adds extensive experience of the challenges and pressures faced by professionals working in both consumer public relations and political communications. Prior to joining Kelton Research, Richter worked at DeVries Public Relations, where he developed successful consumer product and consumer lifestyle campaigns for companies like Procter & Gamble, Bank of America, and E & J Gallo Winery. His stories have appeared on ABC's Good Morning America and in The New York Times, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal. He is also an instructor with Media Bistro, where he teaches classes on public relations.

According to Richter, public relations as an industry 'is becoming increasingly sophisticated as firms are asked by their clients to assume more and more responsibilities', making this an exciting time to join Kelton.
