Joint Venture Creates New UK Fieldwork Firm

Full service agency ORC International and MMR division UK Fieldwork Services have announced a joint venture company, ORC Fieldwork Services, which will conduct ORC's field data collection and will be managed by directors from both companies.

ORC International's interviewer panel and Regional Managers will be merged into the new company. MD Richard Cornelius says the arrangement with UKFS will provide the company with access to a wider network of interviewers and more specialist techniques, given the continuing importance to the company of face-to-face fieldwork. 'We undertook a thorough search of the market and selected UKFS as a partner to work with due to its coverage, additional services available for our clients and excellent quality standards.'

MMR's Managing Director Antony Witt says the move is 'an exciting development for UKFS as we strive to become the premier provider of face-to-face fieldwork in the UK.'
