New Leader for Ipsos MORI's Vantis

Ipsos MORI has appointed Peter Attwell, previously of agencies BDRC and Winmark, as UK Director of its product development and forecasting division, Vantis.

Attwell has worked in both consumer and b2b research, with particular expertise in financial research and in market forecasting & modelling. In his new role, he is tasked with continuing to expand the capabilities of the Vantis team and to further utilise synergies between Vantis and the Ipsos MORI group as a whole.

The Vantis division has conducted more than 7,000 individual concept evaluations, in sectors including alcoholic beverages, financial services, consumer electronics and durable goods, and has strong organic growth of 25% per annum. Attwell, who predicts 'even greater growth in 2006-2007', will report to Andy Parker, MD of the group's Novaction & Vantis division.

Ipsos MORI was created from the two UK agencies a year ago this month, and now has 900 staff. The firm is online at www.ipsos-mori.com .
