TNS Hires Marketing Chief

TNS has appointed Francis Eames, a veteran of Diageo and Unilever, as its Group Marketing Director. He will be actively involved in the marketing of several new solutions, as well as the ongoing development of TNS' four core Areas of Expertise.

Based in London, Eames will drive awareness of the TNS offer amongst existing and potential clients, and further develop the firm's marketing and brand strategy.

The four core areas, created last year, are New Product Development, Segmentation & Positioning, Brand and Advertising Research and Stakeholder Management.

Eames has helped to deliver global marketing strategies for a number of blue chip companies. At Diageo, he developed and implemented a new global identity for the Guinness brand worldwide, following a spell co-ordinating marketing teams across the brand's markets in SE Asia, based in Singapore. For Unilever, he conducted the first post-launch global marketing analysis of the Iced Tea category for Lipton Soft Drinks.
