November 2 2006

The Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA), North America, announced its 2006-2007 North America Board of Directors at its Annual North America Conference in New York City, Oct. 8-10.

Elected by the membership, the MSPA North America Board consists of 13 directors, four of whom are annually elected officers President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Directors serve three-year terms. The Board also includes the President of MSPA Europe.

"The MSPA is excited to begin working with a new slate of officers and directors for 2006 and 2007," said John Swinburn, Executive Director of the MSPA. Each of these individuals brings a vast array of mystery shopping knowledge and experience to the association and will play an important role in the continued success of the MSPA.

The new Board includes four officers, seven returning directors and two new directors.

Tom Mills, President. Mills, previously MSPA Vice President, is the CEO of Howard Services Inc., based in Boston, and runs the Mystery Shopping division, Service Sleuth. During his time at Service Sleuth, the company has grown by 1,000 percent. Mills is a veteran of the retail, restaurant and financial services industries. In 2002, he was voted Volunteer of the Year by the MSPA and, in 2003, was named as the third member of the MSPA Hall of Fame.

Christopher Warzynski, Vice President. Warzynski has served two terms as MSPA Treasurer. He currently is the Vice President of Beyond Hello, based in Madison, Wis. His background in international business, retail training and human services all played a major role when he founded Beyond Hello in 1991.

Judi Hess, Treasurer. Hess is the owner of Customer Perspectives, based in Hooksett, N.H., which she founded 20 years ago. The company is a charter member of the MSPA and Hess is the Board liaison to the new MSPA Member Services committee.

Reb Henry, Secretary. Reb has served as the President of Feedback Plus, based in Dallas, for nine years and is beginning his third term as MSPA Secretary. Prior to joining Feedback Plus, Reb worked for 12 years in the commercial real estate industry and for eight years in corporate sales training and management.

The MSPA officers serve one-year terms that run until the 2007 MSPA North America Conference, typically held in the Fall.

Two new directors join the MSPA Board for 2006-2007: Renee DeSantis, President of Mystery Shoppers, Inc. and Game Film Consultants (Austin, Texas), and Arcadio Roselli, with Service Evaluation Concepts (Woodbury, N.Y.).

Returning directors include Harvey Gilbert, AQ Services International (Singapore); Lorri Kern, founder of Kern Scheduling Services (Tucson, Ariz.); Chuck Paul, A Closer Look (Norcross, Ga.); David Rich, Immediate Past President of MSPA North America and president of ICC/Decision Services (New York); Susan Seiler, President of SG Marketing Group (Arnold, Calif.); Ross Thomas, co-founder of Reality Check Mystery Shoppers (Seattle); and Ron Welty, President of IntelliShop (Perrysburg, Ohio).
