Leading Edge Expands Horizons

Pioneering Australian agency The Leading Edge (TLE) has launched a new strategy called '20/10 Vision', and hinted at expansion in 'Northern Europe, the US and North Asia' in the coming months.

Joint CEO Mark Sundqvist says there will be 'more announcements over the next few months' to follow the launch of a new office in Singapore earlier this year.

The 20/10 Vision is based on three main pillars: a continued focus on the core Australian business as a 'stable platform for growth'; a drive to develop and sharpen the company's offer around client needs, including insight, innovation and brand building; and international growth focusing on 'key strategic markets' to take advantage of international client opportunities.

According to Sundqvist, 'We called it 20/10 Vision as this reflects the 2010 timeline of our next horizon and because 20/10 vision is twice the clarity of normal human sight - which is appropriate for a sharp focus on the future. At the heart of the vision is our goal to become a world leader in the consumer insight driven consultancy space.' One of the key aims is to provide a range of new opportunities within the company for its people, which Sundqvist says are 'what makes The Leading Edge great'.
