iD Factor Leads Parent's Growth

December 7 2006

In the UK TMN plc, which owns panels firm The iD Factor and newly launched online research consultancy division iCD, has announced record revenue (£8m) and profits (£1.4m) in its half-yearly statement to the stock market. iD Factor grew fastest of its three core divisions, with sales up 122%.

Acquisitions mean revenue for the six months ended 31 October is up 350% and operating profit up 190% compared to the same period last year (2005: £1.8m and £0.5m respectively). Headline earnings per share rose 185% to 2.4p. The iD Factor is now fully integrated into the group, which will reach 100 staff for the first time this month, following a raft of new appointments.

All TMN plc divisions have contributed, with iD Factor growing fastest and establishing 41 supply partnerships across the globe during the period.

CEO Mark Smith says: 'Both the ongoing growth of the internet advertising market and the increased usage by consumers of the Internet are key drivers in our continuing success. We have experienced solid growth all round, very much in line with our expectations'. Smith also welcomed good progress for TMN's new lead generation technology, 'Lead It', and said there were 'further launches on the horizon'.

During the period, the company formally changed its name from themutual.net to TMN Group plc. Established in 1999, its three core divisions are TMN Media, an email marketing specialist; EDR, an online interactive advertising agency; and The iD Factor. Recently, iCD Research has been established as an autonomous division providing clients with insight and analysis of market research data. The iD Factor is online at www.theidfactor.com while the group is at www.tmnplc.com .
