Data Firm Adds Clout

December 14 2006

Digital information management firm ZANTAZ, Inc. has appointed Robert (Bob) Little as VP of Product Marketing and Jack Dempsey as VP of Product Development.

Little has more than 18 years of experience in related roles. He leaves EMC Software where he was Director of Business Development Strategy, following spells as General Manager of the Compliance Product Business Unit, Director of Product Management and a company spokesman. At ZANTAZ, he assumes broad product marketing responsibilities including defining market requirements, delivering competitive and market research and defining product messages.

Dempsey will lead the firm's product development teams in Boston, Ottawa, Canada and Pleasanton, Calif., and brings more than 23 years of product development and product management experience. Most recently he was the VP of Business Development for technology firm Cylant. Previous employers include CertCo, Inc. and NEC Computer Systems where he was VP of Engineering. He spent most of the first 10 years of his career in research and development positions at Wang Laboratories.

ZANTAZ President and CEO Steve King says the new arrivals will help the company with 'serious challenges... from the ever-growing volume of electronic content and the increasingly complex rules related to compliance and litigation.'

The company focuses on content archiving and electronic discovery solutions, helping clients to 'capture, classify, preserve and discover unstructured digital information' such as email, files and scanned documents. Its web site is at www.zantaz.com .
