New Head of Operations for Knowledge Networks

Richard Catrone has replaced Joe Viglianti as Senior VP, Operations at Knowledge Networks (KN). Vigilanti retires after 35 years at KN and predecessor firm Statistical Research, Inc.

KN acquired the assets of Statistical Research in 2001, and Viglianti became the head of KN Operations, including KnowledgePanel, as well as serving on the company's Executive Staff.

Catrone, who will be based in the New York and Cranford, NJ, offices, has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer research industry, most recently as Senior VP, North American Operations at Ipsos ASI. From 2001 to 2004, he headed Online Panel and Operations for Ipsos Interactive Services. He also spent 15 years at The NPD Group, rising to Vice President, Corporate Operations and Panels, a position he held from 1997 to 2001.
