Former NATO Network Designer Joins TDG

Texas-based digital and new media research firm The Diffusion Group (TDG) has made another senior appointment, wireless and mobile technology consultant Stephen Dye.

For the past 24 years, Dye has worked in the wireless communications industry. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bromley College of Technology in Kent, Dye commenced his career with the British Ministry of Defence, where he designed terrestrial and satellite communication networks for NATO.

He has since held a variety of senior management positions, most recently as Senior Director of Product Development with convergence technology provider IntelliNet Technologies. Prior to this he worked for Syniverse Technologies, Esemde, and ran his own technology consultancy, Signum.

Commenting on the addition of Dye to the team, TDG Founding Partner and Principal Analyst, Michael Greenson said: 'His experience and his depth of knowledge in the mobile infrastructure and applications industry will be greatly appreciated by our clients.'

Dye is also a published author, having written books on GPS, LBS, Mobile IM and M2M.
