Mediaedge Strengthens Senior Research Team

WPP agency Mediaedge:cia has appointed media researcher Art Christiani as Managing Partner at ohal, its econometric modeling and investment strategy company; and has added to the role of media research veteran Gerard Broussard, to whom Christiani will report.

Christiani joins from retail info and analytics giant Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) where he served as Executive VP, Chief Consumer Insights and Analytics Officer, managing a team of 20. He was previously a Principal for HRCP Consulting Partners, and began his career as Manager of Research and Analysis at Duracell Inc.

Broussard remains Director of Research and Analytics for GroupM Interaction but also becomes Managing Partner, Strategic Insights and Analytics for MEC MediaLab, ohal and Competitive Edge.

Broussard has twenty-six years of media research and modeling experience. He was Associate Director of Media Research for Ogilvy & Mather until 1998 when he joined Ogilvy / Mindshare joint venture MOne. When MOne was split up a year ago, he moved to MindShare Interaction. He has a BBA and MBA, both from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Broussard will report to both Lee Doyle, MEC's Head Of Client Services, and Rob Norman, Global CEO of Interaction at GroupM.
