Ipsos Interactive Unites North American and European Outfits
March 2 2007

Ipsos Interactive Services (IIS) has merged its North American and European organisations into one global online research body, to be managed by CEO Andrei Postoaca.

The move reflects Ipsos Group strategy to establish online data collection as a group specialism.

According to Postoaca: ‘Multinational clients nowadays prefer to work with one research partner, which can bring them integrated services with a worldwide reach... We want this new organisation to make full use of all the strengths and potential residing in all the centers which have been operating independently in different business units in Europe and North America until now.’

ISS panels comprise 2 million online panelists, in 27 countries on 3 continents. In 2006 the firm added the CEE countries as well as three Latin American markets (Mexico, Brazil and Argentina) to its panel portfolio. It has recently set up online panels in Austria, Ireland, Portugal and Israel and is in the process of recruiting panels in Asia (China, Japan) and Australia. The merger adds 500,000 respondents in the USA and Canada.

Established in 1998, Ipsos Interactive Services is online at www.ipsos-interactive.com .
