Kline Creates Client Satisfaction Overview Role

March 16 2007

Management and market research consultancy Kline & Company has created a new role overseeing global client satisfaction across the group, and promoted Ian Butcher, a twenty-five year veteran of the firm, to fill it.

Butcher is promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Client Liaison, based in Klein's Brussels office. He worked as Commercial Director before becoming a Member of the Board of Directors and Company Officer. His most recent position involved helping the firm's European chemical and petroleum clients identify new business opportunities and new markets.

Commenting on the appointment, Kline Chairman and CEO Joe Tarantola says: 'As we continue to grow and globalise, Kline has had an increasing need for a senior executive to develop and nurture relationships with our global clients. Ian is a natural fit for this important role.'

Prior to joining Kline, Butcher was Executive Director of WS Atkins Management Consultants; Coordinator at SLS Consultancy in York, Lecturer at the University of Nice and also worked in a number of EU institutions, namely the European Commission, Council of Ministers; Economic and Social Committee and Euratom. He has an honors degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury, and a Master of Arts in Business and Managerial Economics from the University of Leeds.

Kline & Company was established in 1959 and serves the chemicals, consumer products, energy, and life sciences industries. The firm is headquartered in New Jersey and is on the web at www.klinegroup.com .
