Leeds-based agency Quaestor is to launch a branded qualitative panel of 50 to 65 year olds, 'Think 50', combining a focus group format with an omnibus approach to client buy-in. Two sessions of two hours each will be held on the first Tuesday of each month, beginning on 1st May.

The firm says research buyers, brand managers and marketing managers can buy into half-hour slots to get rapid feedback on areas from purchase and attitudinal behaviour to views of specific new product concepts. According to Quaestor's Shazia Ali: 'The idea of hosting such sessions is not new to the research industry, but we believe that Think 50 is the first to target this important, and yet often neglected audience. We think it will be warmly welcomed by brand and product managers and researchers looking for a toe-in-the-water approach before embarking on a full research project.'
