Five Additions for Lightspeed North America

Online MR specialist Lightspeed Research has strengthened its North American outfit with the addition of five new members to its business development team.

Joanne Crowley joins as Account Director in Los Angeles, with more than 25 years' MR experience and expertise in online research and online panel management experience. She previously worked as Senior Project Director at Marylander Marketing Research, prior to which she launched and managed the JDPowerPanel for JD Power and Associates, and held several MR roles at Market Facts (now Synovate), Lawrence Rubin Associates and Harris Gabel Associates. She has a BBA degree in Market Research and is currently studying for an MBA at the California State University.

Rowena Collier joins the firm as Account Director, West Coast, working from the firm's Los Angeles base. She was previously Corporate Sales Account Executive at WebEx Communications. Before this, she was Regional Account Manager at Yahoo! HotJobs, and held sales and marketing roles at Cedco Publishing and HR Microsystems. She graduated with a BA in Anthropology.

Brendan Egan joins as Account Director in the New York office, with more than eight years' MR experience. He previously worked as Research Manager at Harris Interactive where he specialised in managing studies to support pharmaceutical launches. Prior to this, he worked as a pharmaceutical moderator at Cogent Research, and previously held posts at Reed Business Information as Director of Custom Research, and at BRW Group as Research Manager. Egan has a BSc in Marketing from Providence College.

Paul Caputo takes on the role of Account Director in the New York office. With a background in online research, research design and data management, Caputo joins from Ipsos Direct Marketing Research, where he led a team of analysts. He has a BSc in Economics from Sienna College.

Harry Jefferies joins as VP Business Development, North America to develop sales across the East Coast from the New Jersey office. He was previously Account Director at Wolters Kluwer Health, and prior to this, held sales and business development positions with Fulltilt Solutions, Exodus Communications, First Consulting Group and Honeywell. Jefferies holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Philadelphia's Temple University.
