Synovate Hires For Consumer & Business Insights Unit

Synovate has appointed Mark Berry as Executive Vice President of its Consumer and Business Insights unit in the US.

In his new role he will oversee the company's third party research services, as well as research for the packaged goods, retail, restaurant, durable goods and media industries. Robert Skolnick, CEO of Synovate North America explains: 'Mark's insight into these industries, along with his superior strategy and execution capabilities, make him a superb addition to our senior management team.'

Berry has a MR background spanning more than 20 years, during which time he has accumulated knowledge of technology, the Internet, and consumer marketing research. Before joining Synovate, he had been President NFO Interactive (now TNS) since 1999, and prior to this, held a number of senior executive positions with Information Resources and Claritas. He commenced his career with Procter & Gamble after being awarded a BS in Business Administration by Stetson University
