Key Survey Appoints Director for New Division

Boston-based enterprise data management provider, Key Survey, has appointed Alan Farias as Director of Professional Services. Farias will head the firm's newly launched Professional Survey Services division.

Farias has a twenty year background in the market research and survey-related industries. He joins from recently re-branded web-based survey firm Perseus | WebSurveyor (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6641.htm ), where for the past three years he led the Professional Services group as VP of Professional Services. For the fifteen years prior to this, Farias worked as Director of Primary Research at IDC, supporting the firm's US-based syndicated research, ePanels and consulting practices. On graduating from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, his first position was as Research Manager for IDC's publication, Computerworld.

In his new role, Farias is responsible for overseeing the firm's new suite of online and offline services which include: survey scanning, survey design, printing/mailing/data entry, survey panels and survey training. He will also be advising the software development department on strategic direction and tactical enhancements.

Key Survey CEO Cal Brown said: 'This new division allows us to ensure that each of our clients' projects is methodologically sound, especially their surveying instruments.' He added 'Mr Farias and his team will help Key Survey to evolve from a comprehensive technology-based business to one that provides complete data collection solutions to even the most demanding enterprise customers.'
