... and KDA Reveals Revelation

April 18 2007

San Francisco-based KDA Research has launched Revelation – an online qual application combining the rich media data collection capabilities of blogs with user-friendly analysis tools.

The firm says Revelation is a Web 2.0 application for use in immersive research, online ethnography, and remote contextual research, and will 'give qualitative researchers to the ability capture customer experiences literally as they unfold, and analyze them quickly to answer business questions.

The tool's data collection features include the ability to collect digital images, create customized diaries, and facilitate group interactions, while its analysis tools can tag responses, organize data into and easily output both pictures and text.

User and qual consultant Pierre Belisle of Quebec based Belisle Consulting says the patent pending system stands out from other products: 'I think qualitative researchers who have tried to adapt Blogger or YouTube for research, or those seeking a better way to integrate digital homework into their bulletin boards, have been waiting for just such a system.'

Revelation's site is at www.revelationglobal.com .
