Jupiter and NPD Veteran Joins M:Metrics

April 24 2007

Mobile media research agency, M:Metrics, has appointed Evan Neufeld as VP Consulting and Senior Analyst.

Neufeld joins from digital media and consumer consultancy, Storyline Development where he was Principal. He was previously VP of Industry Analysis at NPD Techworld where he focused on analysing technological convergence and its impact on consumer and business sectors. Prior to this he held a number of senior positions at Jupiter Research; latterly that of Senior VP Global Research managing the firm's overall research charter, while helping develop some of the first online advertising forecasts. Before Jupiter, Neufeld was a principal analyst at interactive agency, WebTrack, and also held several positions in the publishing industry.

Widely quoted in publications such as The New York Times, BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal, Internet World, Ad Age and Media Week, Neufeld has a BA in English from Vassar College, and an MA in American Studies from NYU.

'No one understands new media and its impact on advertising and marketing as does Mr. Neufeld,' commented Will Hodgman, President and CEO, M:Metrics. 'While our clients will benefit from his deep knowledge and passion about the mobile medium, the fact that we attracted an executive with his pedigree in media research validates our leadership in, and approach to, mobile media measurement.'

M:Metrics measures the audience for mobile media, and provides metrics on mobile content consumption. The firm is headquartered in Seattle, with offices in San Francisco and London, and is online at www.mmetrics.com .
