MindShare Adds Three to Board

June 4 2007

WPP owned media agency MindShare has promoted three senior executives to its Management Board: Tato Sato from MindShare Insights, Karen Kaufman from the Advanced Techniques Group (ATG), and Malcolm Russell from the Communications Planning Group.

Sato is now Managing Partner and Group Director of MindShare Insights, which develops proprietary research on the relationship between consumers, clients' brands and media.

Kaufman becomes Managing Partner, North American Director of ATG, which is a marketing effectiveness unit that combines data management, analytics and technology.

Russell takes on the role of Managing Partner, Director of Communications Planning Group, which offers multi-platform, integrated media and marketing strategies designed to generate consumer engagement with a client's commercial message.

The three join 13 existing members of the board, which acts as an advisory committee determining company policies, managing critical business issues, and designing the agency's strategic plan.

North American CEO Scott Neslund commented: 'These moves add important voices to our management group from areas that are critical to our future growth. The appointments expand agency representation on the Board, allowing us to call upon a more comprehensive cross-section of departments for advice when making key decisions that impact the entire agency.'

MindShare has billings in excess of $21.4 billion and operates from a network of 96 offices in 66 countries throughout the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. The company is online at www.mindshareworld.com .
