Draftfcb Expands Customer Intelligence Team

In Chicago, marcoms agency and Interpublic subsidiary Draftfcb has expanded its customer intelligence team with two senior appointments. Wendy Foran joins as VP Statistician and Marcos Pierson as VP Director of Customer Intelligence.

Foran has worked in the market and survey research fields for more than 20 years. She was previously Director of Statistical Services at comScore, Director of Statistics at foodservices firm Instill and Project Leader for the Data Warehouse team at electronics firm Anixter. During this time she has developed and analysed segmentation schemes for a variety of organisations and consulted for government agencies on how to improve and update their survey practices. She has an MS in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina and a BS in Statistics from Southern Methodist University.

Pierson began his research and consumer behaviour career in the banking industry. After participating in the United Nations Development Programme in Nicaragua, he worked at agency Draft Worlwide - initially as a DTS Account Manager responsible for customer retention programmes before moving to the position of Director of Client Operations. Most recently, he has been acting as an independent market research consultant for a number of .high profile global brands. He received a degree in Finance from the University of Miami and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

The pair will report to Chief Customer Intelligence Officer Michael Fassnacht who comments: 'In today's world of measurable communications, data is as important as ever, which is why we continue to strengthen our customer intelligence division throughout the entire network. Wendy's vast experience coupled with her sharp intuition will make her an invaluable resource. Marcos is a dynamic individual who will lead many of our strategic data efforts and ultimately make an impact on the programmes that we create.'
