Franchise Intelligence Specialist Launched

Dallas-based Spectrum Solutions has announced the launch of a new company, ZeeProbe, providing market intelligence for franchise, food and retail establishments.

Spectrum, which provides technology enabled full service MR, online survey programming, DP and web solutions, says the new company already has more than 50 technical professionals on staff.

The team will be led by Sudheesh Thampi as President and CEO; VP of Business Solutions Prit Sen in charge of day-to-day business development, marketing, sales and operations; and COO Ashwin Joshi looking after infrastructure, technology and support systems.

Sen has more than 12 years of experience in domestic and international franchising including work for Mail Boxes Etc.-The UPS Store and AlphaGraphics. He describes the launch as a 'dynamic real-time answer to the information gap that exists between franchisors and their global franchise networks'. The new firm will bring together the collection, storage and analysis of data along with resources for business quality standards assessments and field reviews.

Joshi has over 17 years experience in technology and services including managing a customer support group for a large wireless infrastructure supplier.

Philip Campbell, a veteran of the franchise industry who has been involved in the acquisition or sale of 33 companies in his career, will work alongside software architect Rusty Luhring to develop the firm's web-based data collection tools. Campbell says ZeeProbe will 'de-mystify the understanding of financial results for franchisors and franchisees' and simplify adherence to the new UFOC Item 19 rules regarding 'financial performance representation'. Luhring has 25 years experience in software development and is the creator of financial data collection and display system SurvivalWare.
