Vovici Buy to Boost Government Client Base

August 3 2007

Survey software and EFM specialist Vovici has acquired assets from survey software provider, Raosoft Inc., and will assume support for its EZSurvey and EZReport clients.

Raosoft will retain control of all business activities, including customer support, for its InterForm product.

Vovici (pronounced voh-VEE-see), which positions itself as a provider of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM), was formed from the merger of WebSurveyor and Perseus Development Corporation in June 2006. The latest acquisition strengthens its ability to move new clients onto its Web-based survey and EFM platforms, and also boosts its position in the public sector - Raosoft's Federal government client base includes the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and Department of the Treasury.

Raosoft CEO Catherine Rao explains the motives for the deal: 'Our industry is consolidating and Raosoft believes Vovici is the market leader. As we embarked on the search for a partner, Vovici's vision for the future of online surveys and its reputation for providing exceptional customer service support made them a clear choice.' She adds that Vovici's location near Washington, D.C. promises new training and support options for her firm's past customers.

Pioneering products EZSurvey and EFM Community (formerly known as SurveySolutions for the Web) were announced simultaneously in September 1997 at IT Expo in New York City.

Vovici Chairman and CEO Dean Wiltse comments, 'We are excited to offer Raosoft customers our stellar customer service, as well as a migration path for a robust survey solution that can expand their ability to gather feedback and data that is vital to the growth of their organizations.'

Vovici Corporation operates in five countries and is online at www.vovici.com.
