Editorial Appointment for Online MR Publisher

eMarketer, provider of MR information for online marketers, has hired Mickey Alam Khan for the new role of Editor in Chief. He will lead the analyst team and oversee publication of more than 80 reports a year, plus the content of the firm's daily newsletter.

Alam Khan, who worked previously as a foreign correspondent for Advertising Age magazine, will report directly to CEO Geoff Ramsey. He also covered interactive marketing, media, e-commerce and ad agency news for the weekly publication DM News, before becoming its Editor-in-Chief.

'eMarketer is continually looking for ways to expand and enhance its analytical coverage of the online marketing landscape' says Ramsey.
