iSuppli Flies in Multimedia Specialist

In California, electronics research specialist iSuppli has appointed former Air Force lieutenant David Carnevale as Vice President Multimedia Content and Distribution, to manage the firm's home, mobile, broadband and digital research programmes.

He joins with more than 20 years' executive-level consulting and market research experience gained in a number of high technology businesses, preceded by a career in the US Air Force in which he attained the rank of first lieutenant. He worked at Gartner/Infocorp and later moved on to Dataquest. Most recently, Carnevale headed Marketing and Business Development at American Technology Corporation; before this he held senior marketing roles at Path 1 Network Technologies, Mitsubishi Electronics, NEC Electronics and Compaq Computer.

He comments: 'Digital multimedia content is reshaping not only the global technology business, but the global economy itself. Gaining an understanding of the radical new market dynamics is essential to any company's survival in any business.'

Carnevale has a Batchelor of Science from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
