In the UK, former Voxco and Pulse Group salesman Nigel Legg has formed Katugas Research Services Ltd, offering multi-lingual coding services.
Katugas will use a team of freelancers and will code directly in the language in which answers are given, which Legg says 'removes the need for costly and time consuming translations'. Most European languages are currently available, with teams being developed to cover Asian languages. Translation and transcription services are also available.
Legg, who is the main shareholder and MD of the new firm, worked at ORC, RONIN and Memphis International before joining Voxco as Technical Services Manager in 2001. After a brief spell running his own business, KatugasData, in late 2005, he became Sales Manager, Europe for Pulse Group.
Bristol-based Katugas is on the web at www.katugas-research-services.co.uk.
