Former Novartis Insight Head to Lead GfK HealthCare

Former Novartis Global Head of Consumer Insights Sandra McAuliffe has taken up the role of Managing Director with GfK HealthCare in the UK.

She joins with 21 years' experience working clientside for pharmaceutical organisations including Merck, Pharmacia, AstraZeneca and Novartis. Her new role will involve developing proactive working partnerships with clients.

McAuliffe says that coming from a strong clientside background has given her first hand experience of what is needed to take GfK HealthCare to the next level. She plans to increase the focus on account management, while strengthening the firm's insight offering to support client decision-making.

'Increasingly, our clients are looking for us to provide more than just an 'information dump,' McAuliffe remarked. 'They want us to deliver a complete view of the market in which they operate, benchmark their performance within that market and provide deeper and richer business understanding, in order to boost their commercial performance.'
