Two Health Launches for Nielsen

The Nielsen Company has announced the launch of two new services from its NielsenHealth operation: Diabetes*Buzz and Healthcare Marketing Mix.

Diabetes*Buzz will use Nielsen BuzzMetrics' tracking technology to monitor perceptions of and attitudes to diabetes, as expressed in consumer-generated online media; and will integrate sales data from major diabetes categories like pharmaceutical therapy, vitamins and supplements.

Healthcare Marketing Mix will help clients make a detailed assessment of the impact of their marketing efforts, using advanced algorithms and modeling techniques to aid the optimisation of spend.

NielsenHealth was launched in August (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7162.htm ) to offer 'consumer centric' analytical tools for more effective understanding of the attitudes, behaviors and needs of patients and physicians.
