Strong Third Quarter Growth for comScore

October 9 2007

Online measurement firm comScore has announced preliminary financial results for the Third Quarter of 2007, with revenue projected in the range $22.1m-$22.5m, up 37-39% versus Q3 2006 and higher than the previously issued guidance of c.$21.5m-22.0m.

Third quarter 2007 GAAP net income is projected to be in the range of $3.5 - 3.9m, up 119% to 145% versus the third quarter of 2006. comScore's own figure for adjusted net income is projected to be in the range of $4.4m to $4.8m for the quarter, up 119 - 139% on the year.

The previous forecast of $0.11 to $0.12 per fully diluted share falls well short of the $0.15 to $0.17 earnings now likely. Adjusted EBITDA (see comScore's site www.comscore.com for definition) is expected in the range $4.2m-$4.6m, compared with previous guidance of $3.4m-$3.5m - an increase or 59-74% vs Q3 2006 and more (85-100%) if an estimated $700,000 relating to the firm's first full fiscal quarter as a public company is excluded.

Full results will be reported on Wednesday, October 31, at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
