Former NetRatings Analyst Joins Havas Subsidiary

Media Contacts (MC), the interactive network of Havas Media, has hired Jarvis Mak as VP US Director of Research and Insights, based in its San Francisco office.

Mak was previously Director Client Results at retail media analysis provider DS-IQ where he helped convert in-store campaign results into targeting and optimisation strategies. Prior to this, he was Director Data Insights at Yahoo!, and Senior Internet Media Analyst and then Director Analytics at Nielsen/NetRatings, where he spearheaded the firm's MegaPanel of one million Internet respondents.

Reporting to MD North America Ed Montes, Mak will now be responsible for company research as it relates to digital, direct and relationship-based media. He will also work closely with the agency's Global Director Research & Insights TS Kelly.

'Now that the intersection of technology, data and analytics has become a standard part of the marketing landscape, we believe in Jarvis we have found an industry thought leader who can put these converging trends into context,' said Montes.
