Senior Hires for AMR

Supply chain specialist AMR Research has made three appointments. David Aquino and David Brown join as Research Directors on the Value Chain Strategies team and the Enterprise Strategies team, respectively, while Noha Tohamy joins the Market Services team.

Aquino specialises in apparel, footwear, beverage, and direct store delivery markets, and was previously VP of Supply Chain at Aramark Uniform and Career Apparel. Before that, he held the same title at AAi Foster Grant, Inc. He holds a BS in marketing from Syracuse University and an MBA from Fordham University, and is certified in production and inventory management from APICS.

Brown focuses on enterprise applications, IT management, enterprise performance management, and applications portfolio management. Prior to AMR he worked as VP of Information Systems, Merchandising, and Supply Chain at Staples, Inc. Previous work included senior leadership positions at Stride Rite, Polaroid, WHITTMANHART, Malden Mills and Cranston Print Works. He has a BA from Unity College, an MS in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

Tohamy was previously an independent supply chain consultant, and earlier in her career was a principal analyst at Forrester Research, in addition to spells at supply chain technology vendors Syncra Systems, ProfitLogic, Logistics.com and The Sabre Group. Currently an adjunct professor at Emmanuel College, she graduated from Emory University with a BS in mathematics and from Georgia Institute of Technology with a MS in operations research, with a focus on optimization.
