Rockbridge Hires VP Research

In the US, technology specialist Rockbridge Associates has hired Joseph Bates as Vice President Research.

Bates has a 12 year qual and quant background. He takes up the new post from the Consumer Electronics Association, where he worked for the last seven years as Director of Research. Before this he was involved in political polling, healthcare, telecoms, law and manufacturing research. He has also been a guest lecturer on research methods at a number of colleges and associations.

Bates graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the College of William and Mary. In addition, he has undertaken advanced statistical analysis and methods training from the ACNielsen Burke Institute and Sawtooth Technologies.
