Yellow Pages Expert Joins Knowledge Networks/SRI

In the US, Knowledge Networks/SRI (KN/SRI) has hired Thomas Maguire as Vice President to help develop new products and approaches for its Yellow Pages (YP) specialism.

Maguire has spent the last 15 years working in research and analysis positions within the YP industry. He joins from Innovectra, where he acquired new customers for online directory platforms. Previously he was VP of Business Development for YellowPages.com, before which, he worked for The Kelsey Group and for Simba Information, where he helped both firms launch their first YP reports. Maguire holds a BA from Fairfield University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

'Tom's relationships and reputation within the global YP industry will help us target our efforts directly toward customer needs, from product creation and refinement to custom research,' said Jane Dennison-Bauer, SVP and General Manager YP, at KN/SRI. 'His YP experience gives us the ability to provide our clients with value-added research, since he is able to show how to use the data to tell compelling stories.'

Earlier in the year, KN/SRI hired YP and telecom industries veteran Jim D'Arcangelo to head its directory research program (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6545.htm ).

The firm was founded in 1998, and its Yellow Pages Market Reporter was the first syndicated measurement of individual YP directory distribution areas (DDAs). KN is online at www.knowledgenetworks.com.
