TNS Hires Leader for India and Sri Lanka | December 11 2007 |
|
TNS has appointed Neerja Wable as CEO India and Sri Lanka, to oversee the implementation of a number of growth initiatives and take responsibility for strategic planning and business development. Wable was previously Chief Client Officer at Millward Brown.
She started her career in account servicing and planning with ad agency JWT in Calcutta, then joined IMRB in Mubai to help set up the qualitative research unit, and latterly became Senior VP and Executive Director in charge of the firm’s Delhi office. After this, she moved to MB Singapore to become CCO for Africa and Asia Pacific.
Stuart Campbell-Morris, Regional MD for Middle East, Africa and India, commented: ‘I believe that we have found Neerja to be someone exceptional, with the necessary industry status, experience and drive to take up the role. I am very confident that her enthusiasm for taking our business to the next level will see our vision for our business in India and Sri Lanka realised.’
In her new role, Wable will sit as an Associate Director on the TNS Asia Pacific, Latin America and Middle East Board to support TNS's regional growth strategy. She succeeds outgoing MD Suresh Ramadurai, who left the firm in September (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7370.htm ).
