Buckingham Research Names New MD

UK holding group Optimisa has announced that Paul Nola is the new MD at Buckingham Research Associates. Previously an Account Director at sister company kae: marketing intelligence, Nola replaces MD Tony Isaacs who is leaving the firm after seven years.

Paul NolaNola was responsible for telecoms, technology and media at strategic marketing consultancy KAE. He joined it in 2004 from integrated marketing agency Contra, having previously worked for Trend Consulting and BCG. He is a graduate of the University of Bristol, and in 2003 he completed an MBA at The Tanaka Business School, Imperial College London.

His new role will include overseeing the growth of new business and further development of the existing account base at Buckingham. In addition to this, he will continue to head the telecoms practice at KAE.

Optimisa CEO Simon Dannatt commented: 'Paul has overseen significant growth in our telecoms business over the last three and a half years and I know this success will continue, both at KAE and at Buckingham Research.'

Isaacs will launch a new quant research and statistical analysis agency SigDiff in mid-February.
