Pharma Veteran to Head PMRG Education Committee

In the US, the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG) has named Dr Scott Lauder Director of its Education Committee, in charge of the creation and execution of the association's continued education strategy.

Dr Scott LauderLauder currently serves as SVP, Marketing Training & Consulting for healthcare specialist TVG Marketing Research & Consulting, where he leads the team which manages the firm's seminar series of training programmes for pharmaceutical marketers, plus custom seminars and consulting workshops (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5540.htm ).

Prior to joining TVG, Lauder worked for GfK V2 as Senior Consultant with responsibility for client development and custom pharmaceutical marketing research. His 23 year pharma industry background has also included marketing research positions with Abbott Laboratories, Ross Division and GD Searle, and he has a Master's Degree in Behavioural Science and a Doctorate in Sociology.

The PMRG is an independent, non-profit association focused on stimulating marketing research in the pharmaceutical industry. As well as the education committee, the organisation also runs membership, programme, marketing and external outreach working groups which are led by volunteers from a variety of companies.
