Survey Software Firm Merlinco Expands

In London, survey software firm Merlinco has expanded with the opening of a new survey analysis department to provide an in-house facility for clients, and a hosting service for the firm's web survey facilities.

The new unit will be run by healthcare research specialist Kathy Abbott, who has spent the past 15 years with associate company IDA, which yesterday announced its new 'virtual company' re-structure (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7918.htm ).

The firm, which has taken additional space in its Tower Hill office building, has also re-shuffled its Board. Support and Training Director John Tebboth replaces Peter Jackling as MD, while Jackling takes on the role of Business Development Director. Software Development Director and Motown Maestro Keith Hughes (www.mrweb.com/drno/news6938.htm ) will carry on in his existing role.

Jackling explained: 'With the long and successful relationship with IDA now over, it is logical that Merlinco should build up its own survey analysis resources, and Kathy has an excellent reputation in delivering this service.'
