Aegis Media Pools Insight Specialists

Aegis Media has launched &Aelig;volve, a new unit bringing together the firm's forty data and insight specialists from the UK and Ireland.

&Aelig;volve will continue to deliver all the services previously delivered by Data Planning and Carat Insight, including market evaluation, quantitative consumer insight and segmentation, data planning, qualitative research and media insight; and will integrate data mining and feeds from the major search engines and ad-servers.

The unit will work initially across Aegis' brands including Carat, Vizeum and Diffiniti, and will be headed by Carat Insight's former Head of Insight Mark Greenstreet and former Head of Carat Data Planning James Northway.

As Joint MDs, the pair will report to Aegis Media UK and Ireland CEO Nigel Sharrocks, who comments: 'By becoming the first agency group to unite insight, evaluation and data capabilities into one division, we are creating the analysts of the future - able to work across all disciplines.'
