Markitecture Bought By NPD Specialist

Chicago-headquartered branding and marketing consultancy Maddock Douglas has acquired Connecticut-based MR agency Markitecture to add market research and customer insights to its 3-2-1Launch! new product and services division.

Founded in 2000 by the late Robert Shulman, Markitecture works across a variety of sectors and has also developed several proprietary techniques including the BrandNew 10-Step Innovation Process that utilises qual and quant methodologies to uncover new product or service opportunities. The firm is headed by CEO Javier Flaim and Partner Luisa Uriarte who will now head up the eastern offices of 3-2-1Launch!

'We have worked with Maddock Douglas many times over the past few years,' said Flaim. 'Joining forces was a natural next step for us and will give our clients access to world-class innovation capabilities.'

Maddock Douglas Founding Partner Mike Maddock explained that the buy bolsters his firm's 'mind-to-market innovation process'.
